Cannonvale is a residential town, just a few minutes away from Airlie Beach and Shute Harbour. Cannonvale has its own beach and a local community pool which is located in the grounds of the Primary School. It also has an impressive collection of shops located in a large Mall. Most of the locals use these shopping facilities which include banks, a Post Office, a department store, speciality shops, a supermarket, and cafes too. Cannonvale has a TAFE where many of the locals train for their positions in the hospitality trade.Cannonvale is an ideal location for a holiday retreat. It has holiday apartments along the waterfront with children’s play parks and picnic areas alongside. At the end of Cannonvale beach, a molten volcanic rock formation is a reminder of how the area was geologically created.
Cannonvale has all the facilities to make a stay there pleasurable and it has the added advantage of being so close to Shute Harbour, which is the gateway to the beautiful Whitsunday Islands.
